Paid Staff Positions
Camp Staff — Cabin Counselors / Support Staff (Age 18+)
- Weekly salary ($400/wk) and room-and-board included
- Work week runs Monday morning to Friday evening
- Available for the entire camp season (May 19 – Aug 9)
- Maturity in their relationship with God and agreement with our statement of faith
Duties include:
- Shepherding a group of campers through our camp program
- Leading daily devotionals, Bible readings, and conversations after lessons
- Ensuring campers' safety and general well-being
- Encouraging learning and maturity
- Rotated to support positions (worship leader, cook assistant, rec leader, etc.)
Camp Cook (Age 18+)
- Weekly salary ($500/wk) and room-and-board included
- Work week runs Monday morning to Friday evening
- Available for the entire camp season (May 19 – Aug 9)
- Agreement with our statement of faith
- Professional or large-group cooking experience desired but not required
Duties include:
- Making high-quality meals for ~26 people 3x/day, Mon–Fri, plus snacks and desserts
- Working under the Camp Director to determine menus
- Leading camp staff assigned as kitchen assistants
- Ensuring required food and drink items are on hand
- Complying with food service regulations
- Obtaining Food Safety Manager Certification (training/testing at Henry's Place expense)
Volunteer Positions
Can't make it for the whole summer, but still want to help? We generally ask volunteers to commit to at least a full week of camp, and we provide room and board. All volunteers must agree to our statement of faith and usually be 18+ (exceptions made case-by-case).
Cook & Kitchen Assistants
No professional expertise needed — if you can cook for a large group, we'd love your help with delicious home-cooked meals three times a day.
Worship Leaders
Guitarists, pianists, drummers, vocalists, and more. If you have musical gifts to share, we have a spot for you.
Grounds / Maintenance
Periodic scheduled and unanticipated upkeep of our grounds and facilities. Have a spare hour or week this summer?
